Overview

This vacation was designed with the best surf breaks and beaches in Sri Lanka in mind. This leisurely trip visits three of the top surfing locations in the nation and includes at least two days of surfing at each location. From April to November, when surfing is at its best, is suitable for travel. You can bring your own board because there are cars with roof racks available.

Day 01 | Arrive Colombo (Distance – 32 KM, Travel Time – 40 Min, Sightseeing – N/A)

Greetings from Colombo. After being welcomed at the international airport, you will be driven quickly to your accommodation.

Day 02 | Colombo – Hikkaduwa (Distance – 135 KM, Travel Time – 02 Hours, Sightseeing – 01 Hour)

Drive to the gorgeous beach area of Hikkaduwa on the west coast, which is a hotspot for surfers. Together with the breaks, the region has a lot of beachside pubs and restaurants for resting. At the beginning and end of the season, Hikkaduwa's surf conditions are better suited to surfing than swimming. Moreover, snorkeling is possible from Hikkaduwa.

Day 03 | Hikkaduwa (Distance – N/A, Travel Time – N/A, Sightseeing – N/A)

Enjoy a full day of free time in Hikkaduwa. Get up early to go surfing, spend the day at the beach, or, for something more tranquil, go snorkeling in the late afternoon.

Day 04 | Hikkaduwa (Distance – N/A, Travel Time – N/A, Sightseeing – N/A)

The day is yours to spend as you wish. The vehicle and driver is at your disposal to seek out the best surf breaks around Hikkaduwa.

Day 05 | Hikkaduwa – Weligama (Distance – 55Km, Travel Time – 01 Hour, Sightseeing – 02 Hours)

Go right away for Weligama on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Weligama, another well-known surfing location, is home to a variety of breaks that are appropriate for surfers of all skill levels and soft, sandy beaches. Spend the afternoon at leisure to check out the surfing conditions in the area.

A full day of leisure to explore the beaches and breaks around Weligama. Your vehicle and driver will be on hand to hunt down the best beaches in the area. Alternatively, you can head to Mirissa and join a whale watching tour (direct payment)

Day 07 | Weligama (Distance – N/A, Travel Time – N/A, Sightseeing – N/A)

Relax at the beach in Weligama today or discover other nearby surf breaks with the vehicle and driver at your disposal.

Day 08 | Weligama – Talalla (Distance – 38KM, Travel Time – 50 Min, Sightseeing – 30 Min)

Travel further eastward on Sri Lanka’s south coast to your next destination – an ideal beachside retreat where the focus is surfing and yoga. For the next three days you can spend your time surfing, relaxing
by the pool, swimming at the beach and taking yoga classes (optional – direct payment). You’ll be surrounded by fellow surf enthusiasts.

Day 09 | Talalla (Distance – N/A, Travel Time – N/A, Sightseeing – N/A)

A full day at leisure. From your accommodation, you can also choose to visit nearby surf breaks popular with locals.

Day 10 | Talalla (Distance – N/A, Travel Time – N/A, Sightseeing – N/A)

Spend the day enjoying the optional activities offered at your hotel (direct payment). Take a morning or afternoon yoga lesson, indulge with a massage at the onsite spa, join other surfers at nearby breaks or relax at the beach.

Day 11 | Talalla – Colombo Airport (Distance – N/A, Travel Time – N/A, Sightseeing – N/A)

You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Colombo international airport for your departing flight.
